For cattle

The company produces different types of complementary feeds for cattle, which can be used for feeding the animals during the whole year, as well as special feeds for use during the grazing season.

Complementary feeds for calves

  • Complementary feed for calves age 0 – 3 months

The feed is intended for use in calves starting with the fifth day of life until the age of 3 months. As soon as the calf can consume 1 kg of this feed, milk or milk replacer may be safely withdrawn from their menu by gradually reducing the amount of milk and increasing the amount of the aforementioned complementary feed to 2 – 2.5 kg daily. Hay of high quality is fed additionally and water must not be forgotten.

  • Complementary feed for calves aged 1 – 6 months

Recommended as a complementary feed with hay from the age of 3 months (or starting at the age of 4 months on high quality silage) until the calf reaches the age of 6 months.

  • Complementary feed for calves above 6 months of age

Feed for calves starting with the age of 6 months. Depending on the value of the basic feed, the amount of the complementary feed may fluctuate from 1 to 3 kg daily. It may be used as a supplementary feed for meat cattle, (recommended daily dose is 2 – 3 kg).

  • Milk replacer for calves

Preparation of the milk replacer:dilute 100–125 g of the milk powder AGROMILK in warm water (55 - 60°C) and stir until all milk powder has been dissolved. Add cold water to bring to volume of 1 litre. The temperature of the milk for feeding must be 38 - 40°C.

Milk replacer for calves with 16% fat content.

Crude protein – 22.0%, crude fibre – 0.0%, lactose – 46.0%.

  • AGROMILK PREMIUM

Milk replacer for calves with 16% fat content.

Crude protein – 22.0%, crude fibre – 0.3%, lactose – 45.0%.

  • AGROMILK PLUS

Milk replacer for calves with 16% fat content.

Crude protein – 22.0%, crude fibre – 0.7%, lactose – 41.0%.

 

Complementary feeds for lactating dairy cows

While choosing the complementary feed for cattle, it is crucial to choose one that supplements the fodder base used at the farm in order to provide the animals with all necessary nutrients in the required amounts.

1.Complementary feeds that contain the required nutrients (energy, protein, calcium, phosphorus, sodium, vitamins and micro elements) to be used in combination with fodder in order to provide a balanced daily nutritive base for the animals 

  • Complementary feed for high milk-yielding dairy cows

Analytical components of the feed (in dry matter): crude protein – 25.3%, NEL – 8.5 MJ/kg, sugars + starch – 37.8%.

  • Complementary feed for lactating dairy cows Standarta (Standard)

Analytical components of the feed (in dry matter): crude protein – 23.0%, NEL – 8.0 MJ/kg, sugars + starch – 35.9%.

  • Complementary feed for lactating dairy cows Nr. 12 (No 12)

Analytical components of the feed (in dry matter): crude protein – 20.7 %, NEL – 7.7 MJ/kg, sugars + starch – 39.4%.

  • Complementary feed for lactating dairy cows Akcijas (Campaign)

Analytical components of the feed (in dry matter): crude protein – 20.0%, NEL – 7.6 MJ/kg, sugars + starch – 35.4%.

  • Complementary feed for lactating dairy cows during the 1st half of the grazing period

Analytical components of the feed (in dry matter): crude protein – 12.9%, NEL – 7.9 MJ/kg, sugars + starch – 50.9%, magnesium – 1.2%.

  • Complementary feed for lactating dairy cows during the 1st half of the grazing period Premium

  • Complementary feed for lactating dairy cows during the grazing period Akcijas (Campaign)

  • Complementary feed for lactating dairy cows during the 2nd half of the grazing period

2.Complementary feed – protein concentrate

Recommended for use on farms as an additional feed material.by adding 20-30% of the concentrate to grain in order to provide protein. Contents of the feed (in dry matter: crude protein – 34.7%, NEL – 7.9 MJ/kg.

3.Complementary feeds – mineral feeds providing the necessary vitamins and micro elements if the feed is produced locally at the farm by using grain and protein supplements

  • Dofeed Intensiv

(Ca/P = 4.5/1) – for high milk-yielding dairy cows at the beginning of lactation. Daily dose:100–200 g.

  • Dofeed Standart

(Ca/P = 2/1) – for dairy cows in the middle of lactation period. Daily dose: 100–200 g.

  • Dofeed Komfort

(Ca/P = 0.9/1) – for dairy cows at the end of lactation and in dry period. Daily dose: 100–200 g.

  • Dofeed Preventfoss

(Ca/P = 1/3) –for dairy cows to a lack of phosphorus in feed. Daily dose: 100–200 g.

  • Dofeed Mg Activ

(Ca/P = 2/1) – for cattle during grazing period. Daily dose: 100–200 g.

  • Dofeed lickable pots

For cattle during grazing period. To be placed in the pastures.

4.Complementary feed – energy concentrate

  • Dofeed Mega Energy

Provides additional energ for cows prior and after calving. Recommended for feeding 3 weeks prior to calving and until the 100th day of the lactation. Daily dose: 1 kg.
